Spirit Week: December 15th - 23rd
All students in grades PreK-8 are invited to participate in Ps 122 Spirit Week. These are optional events, and students are welcome to join in as many of the activities as they choose.
Monday, December 15th - Character Day
Wear something that represents your favorite character from a book, movie, or show (superheroes, Disney, Pixar characters welcome too)
Tuesday, December 16th - Sports Day
Wear something sporty or your favorite team's jersey, shirt, cap/hat, scarf, jacket, or pants.
Wednesday, December 17th - Wicked Wednesday
Wear something from the movie Wicked: For Good. Dress as your favorite character, a crown, a witch, or something green.
Thursday, December 18th - Snazzy Day
Dress for success. Wear something stylish, elegant, and/or fancy.
Friday, December 19th - Pajama Day
Wear your favorite pajamas to school. Comfy, cozy, or holiday themed are all welcome.
Monday, December 22nd - Sweater Weather
Wear your favorite Holiday Sweater or Ugly Sweater.
Tuesday, December 23rd - Holiday Showdown
Wear green if you're feeling Grinchy or red if you're feeling jolly!
**Please ensure that all outfits in honor of Spirit Week are school-appropriate.**
School Pictures
Stomping Ground Photography joined us on November 19th, 20th & 21st to take individual and class photos, as well as 8th grade cap & gown.
Order forms will be coming in early December. A percentage of your purchase goes back to PS 122 PTO to support enrichment & programs for all students.
There will be a make-up & retake day in early February for any students who missed picture days or need to redo their individual photos.
Cell Phone & Electronic Device Policy - NEW!
In accordance with NYS law, PS122 has a new cell phone and electronic device policy applying to all internet-enabled devices (including smartphones, smart watches, and iPads). If you have questions or need to register an exception, reach out to the school administration.

Important Online Accounts for Your Family
Several different accounts provide resources for students and families. Visit the resources below and reach out to Parent Coordinator Judy Milo if you have any questions.
Parent Accounts:
NYCSchools Account: resources, support, and student information - including grades, IEP information, and attendance.
My Schools: Research schools and register, including Middle School and High School Applications.
Class Dojo: This is an app you can download to your phone, and receive updates and communication from the school, as well as communicate with teachers.
Student Accounts:
Students have an NYC Schools Account automatically created for them. Use that same login for TeachHub, Google Classroom, and more.
TeachHub: Access to a variety of resources, including iReady, SORA, Envision Math Digital, Amplify Science, HMH Into Reading, and all student information - including grades and NYS test scores.
Google Classroom: Each class has a Google Classroom setup, and your teacher may communicate there.
The PS 122 PTO works alongside school staff to provide support and resources to benefit the educational growth of its students while fostering opportunities for parent participation.
